Part 1: Ceramics

📅 Sunday, October 12, 2025 — 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM @ Sukoon Studio

In the bright, serene studio of Sukoon Studio, you will learn how to make an authentic matcha bowl.
Using the pinching and coiling technique, we guide you step by step in forming your bowl.
We'll show you different ways to add texture and work together to create a refined finish.

🍃 Part 2: Matcha

📅 Sunday, November 16, 2025 — 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM @ Kukai Matcha Studio

A month later, we welcome you to the Japanese oasis of Kukai. With your own bowl, you'll truly learn to understand—and taste—matcha.
We dive into:

• • the history and culture of matcha

  • how to choose and store quality matcha powder

  • preparing traditional matcha through demonstration and tasting

You will learn more than just how to make tea: you will experience the essence of the matcha ritual .
