Sukoon - a state of mind in which the act of doing something gives you ease, peace and comfort of mind.
At Sukoon, we believe that ceramics is liberating because it allows us to disconnect from our busy lives and return to the essence—back to the earth.
Sukoon was founded by Belgian ceramicist Charlotte Abeloos.
What began as a passion for clay, a drive to create, and a deep admiration for craftsmanship eventually grew into her own brand. Through this, Charlotte discovered a way to express herself through clay. Be sure to take a look at her Instagram.
For Charlotte, clay is a unique material that changes over time and with temperature. It is fragile because it carries every touch within it and can easily break during the process.
The process of ceramics is unique and requires a lot of patience and attention—but once you begin, you’re hooked and can never let go.
This is the process Charlotte wanted to share with you, and that is how Sukoon Studio was born:
a studio where you are introduced to the artisanal art of ceramics.
A place where you create.
A place where you find peace and disconnect from reality for a while.
The studio is fully equipped with everything you need as a ceramicist:
