11 Weeks on the Wheel – Discover the Art of Wheel Throwing

Have you always wanted to learn how to throw on the pottery wheel?
During this creative 11-week course, we guide you step by step into the magical world of ceramics. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some experience — this program is all about fun, creativity, and the craft of wheel throwing.

🌀 What will you learn?

• Clay basics: kneading, centering, and forming your first pot

• Shaping: making cups, bowls, and more — depending on the group’s level

• Decorating: techniques such as attaching handles and working with engobes

• Finishing: the last two lessons focus on refining and glazing your pieces

• At the end of the course, you’ll go home with a collection of unique, handmade ceramic pieces.

🗓 Class time: Monday evenings from 19:00 – 22:00

📍 Dates: 12/01, 19/01, 26/01, 02/02, 09/02, 23/02, 02/03, 09/03, 16/03, 23/03 & 30/03
(no class during the spring break on 16/02)

👥 Group size: max. 8 students (course runs with a minimum of 6 participants)

🔥 Firing cost: not included in the course price; firing is €10/kg
