11 Weeks on the Wheel – Discover the art of spinning

Have you always wanted to learn how to turn on a potter's wheel?
During this creative 11-week course, we'll guide you step by step into the magical world of ceramics. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some experience, this journey is all about fun, creativity , and the craftsmanship of throwing.

🌀 What will you learn?

• Clay Basics: Kneading, Centering, and Shaping Your First Pot

• Making shapes: cups, bowls, jugs and more

• Decorating: techniques such as applying handles and working with egobes

• Finishing: The last two lessons are all about finishing and glazing your pieces.

At the end of the tour, you will go home with a series of unique, handmade ceramic pieces .

🗓 Class time: Monday morning, 10:00 – 13:00

📍 Dates: 22/09, 29/09, 06/10, 13/10, 20/10, 03/11, 10/11, 17/11, 24/11, 01/12, 08/12 (no classes during the autumn holidays on 27/10 )

👩 Instructor: Margot Hoebus (NL & ENG)

🎓 Level: beginner - intermediate (the course is not suitable for people with a lot of experience)

👥 Group: max. 8 students (the course starts with a minimum of 6 registrations)

🔥 Baking costs: the course price does not include baking costs, which are €10/kg
