6 Weeks on the Wheel – Discover the art of throwing

Have you always wanted to learn how to turn on a potter's wheel?
During this creative 6-week course, we'll guide you step by step into the magical world of ceramics. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some experience, this journey is all about fun, creativity , and the craftsmanship of throwing.

🌀 What will you learn?

• Clay Basics: Wedging, Centering, and Shaping Your First Pot
• Making shapes: cups, bowls and more
• Decorating: techniques such as applying handles and working with engobes

• Finishing: This session is dedicated to finishing and glazing your pieces. 

At the end of the tour, you will go home with a series of unique, handmade ceramic pieces .

🗓 Class time: Tuesday evening, 19:00 – 22:00

📍 Dates: 19/05, 26/05, 02/06, 09/06, 16/06 & 23/06

👩 Instructor: Melanie Landre (NL & ENG)

🎓 Level: beginner - intermediate (the course is not suitable for people with a lot of experience)

👥 Group: max. 8 students (the course starts with a minimum of 6 registrations)

🔥 Firing costs: the course price does not include firing fee of €14/kg
