Sukoon Studio is a ceramics studio located in the heart of Antwerp, offering courses to people with a passion for clay.

We are currently looking for different profiles to join our team.

Instructor – Initiation/Try-out Classes

Your profile

• You are working (semi-)professionally as a potter (full-time or part-time) and have received solid training in pottery.

• You have extensive wheel-throwing experience (cups, bowls, plates, jugs, vases, hollow forms).

• You have a basic theoretical and practical knowledge of various ceramic techniques.

• You are willing to work as part of a team.

• Ceramics is your passion, and you are eager to share your knowledge and experience with our students, within the framework of structured programs.

• You are open to further training by following a course with an experienced instructor.

• You are enthusiastic, customer-oriented, professional, and hands-on.

• Experience in teaching or public speaking is a plus.

• You identify with our values: collaboration, entrepreneurship, result orientation, innovation/creativity, and customer focus.

• You are fluent in Dutch and/or English.

• You are available to work evenings and weekends.

Following a positive interview, you will do a throwing trial and attend an observation session of one of our classes. After a positive evaluation, we will proceed with the hiring process.

Before you can independently lead your own course, we ask you to first participate as a co-teacher in a wheel-throwing course alongside one of our instructors. This way, you will become familiar with the full program and the workings of our studio.
